EFTA - Flight School Training Academy @ Dubai Airshow 2023
An Interactive Trade Fair Experience
Presenting an immersive 3D animation project:
The EFTA Flight School Training Academy sought to enhance its presence through an interactive virtual exhibition experience. The entire EFTA airport facility and its surroundings were meticulously
modeled using Cinema 4D.
Client: EFTA | Cooperation: Albert Gehret, Eductive GmbH
Subsequently, the complex 3D models were imported into the Unreal Engine, where the entire virtual world was constructed. The result was a dynamic and visually stunning environment within the Unreal Engine.
During the virtual exhibition, attendees were able to navigate interactively throughout the airport grounds, gaining valuable insights into the training academy.
There was a relatively small challenge to overcome: the final interactive project had to run on a laptop. This limitation meant we couldn't utilize LUMEN, and instead, the lighting had to be "baked" in a more traditional manner.
In order to meet this requirement, it was crucial to prepare all objects for UV unwrapping, ensuring the generation of high-quality lightmaps.

This interactive experience provided users with additional information about the academy's programs and offerings, creating an engaging and informative showcase of EFTA's commitment to aviation training.
In Addition, an EFTA Flight Training Image Film was created. Everything was animated in the Unreal Engine, since the world was already build.
The animated image film portrays the entire journey of a cadet group, from the initiation of their training to the culmination and completion of the program. Viewers are taken on an immersive journey, gaining insights into the intricacies of the training process, the academy's facilities, and the state-of-the-art simulators utilized for pilot education. The film offers a detailed glimpse into the world of EFTA Flight Training Academy from the start of the training to the successful conclusion of the program.
